dejavoodoo44 Genuinely superb!
As a long time afrobeat fan, I loved the first Les Freres Smith album, as it was full of quality afrobeat workouts. I loved their second album even more, because while it was it faithful to the brass and percussion assault of Fela, it incorporated other stylistic influences.
For much the same reason, I love this even more. While still retaining the power and complexity of afrobeat, the stylistic canvas is broader: highlife, funk & jazz. And overall very, very danceable.

about

Les Frères Smith OFFICIEL Paris, France

Brandishing the Afrobeat banner high, without getting rid of the hypnotic ethio-jazz nor of the West African vibrations captured during their previous discographic adventures, Les Frères Smith have once again taken the road of groove and trance.
